Handmade Cards

Here are some cards that I made using random scraps of paper and embellishments.

Happy Days Card

This is a card that I made for the weekly challenge for The Crafty Cat. (thecraftycat.blogspot.com) I used random scraps from a glitter paper pack for the layout. I also used strips of leather and buttons to accent the card.

St. Patrick's Day Card

This is a card that I made for a weekly contest for The Crafty Cat. (thecraftycat.blogspot.com) I used light green cardstock for the background, green striped paper for the edges and white ribbon. I also punched holes to create a swirl design in the middle and then set eyelets in random places. I used glossy accents to make the word "Lucky" stand out at the bottom of the card.

Patchwork Messenger Bag

This is a patchwork messenger bag that I made. It is the first bag that I've ever made. The outside of the bag is made out of corduroy patches and the inside is made out of heavy khaki material and camo material. On the front of the bag I added velcro to help hold the bag closed. I also made a long shoulder strap to carry it by.

Drum Bag

This is a drum bag that I made for my husband. It is the first one that I've ever made, so there is room for improvement. The patches are made out of corduroy and the top and bottom of the bag is a heavy blue fabric. I used a thin rope to make a drawstring in the top of the bag. I also made a long shoulder strap to carry it by.

Scrapbook Layouts

Here are some of my 12"x12" scrapbook layouts that I've made. It's been a while since I've put these together, but if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them for you.

Mini Albums

This is a mini album that I made of my daughter. It consists of one 4"x 4" chipboard mini album with 2 rings. I covered the album with various designs of paper and tags from the K & Company "Dollhouse" paper pack. I used several different styles of ribbon to tie around the rings. Then I just used random flowers, buttons and rhinestones to add a little flair to each page.
